Ms. Fishta is a public health physician with more than 10 years experience in managing health care interventions within the context of complex emergencies. Through managing NGOs as well as senior positions with the United Nations, she has overseen the design and implementation of health and education programs throughout her native Albania, in Kosovo, Germany, USA, Italy, etc. While her interests belong to the area of public health, mostly in reproductive health, she is particularly skilled at managing large teams of technical and administrative staff. As the Chair Person of the organization International Humantarian Assistance (IHA) she takes the lead in the overall activities of the organization, raises funds and negotiates with possible donors, prepares financial and activity reports, conceptualizes new programs, takes decisions and is responsible to build and maintain good partnerships with other institutions and individuals.
Ms. Fishta has a deep understanding of the needs and problems related to international health. As a Fulbright scholar, during her Master course in Public Health (MPH) at Tulane University, NO - USA she accumulated enough skills on different public health matters particularly on international health policy and management and reproductive health. She counts many researches in the area of reproductive health, gynecologic cancer and infectious diseases. She improved further her scientific skills during her Doctorate study at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena (FSU Jena) and her work experience as a research scientist at the Institute of Community Medicine of the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University and IGES Institute GmbH in Germany.

- Public Health in Developing World (including epidemiological research on infectious diseases, health policy, health management, prevention, health promotion)
- Gynaecology and Reproductive Health (including research on cancer prevention and management; tumor markers, epidemiological research on sexually transmitted diseases: Human Imunodeficiency Virus, Human Papilloma Virus, etc.; Family Planning)
- Proposal writing including fund raising.
- Reporting (including NPO financial reporting).
- Monitoring and evaluation of running projects.
- International Public Health. Health policy and health sector development.
- Health determinants (e.g. social change, alcohol, tobacco and nutrition), health system performance, and the relationship between health and the economy. Study of environmental influences on health, including the potential
effects of determinants of disease in the change of global environment.

- Public Health Genomcs as the future of improved individual health worldwide.
